In early 1998, Ellen became part of Robert's single life. Just after a couple of coffee and wine the pair started dating one another due to the great attraction. 

They started appearing in every public place and became the highlighted couple. In 2001, Robert proposed her with a beautiful diamond and they became engaged with one another. It happened after three years of a dating life.

After spending two years of their engagement the pair finally decided to accept one another as husband and wife. In 2003, the duo finally exchanged their wedding vows. 

It was a beautiful ceremony where many high profiles personal were seen at the venue to greet the couple. Even, Robert's children with his previous wife were seen on the function. 

Just after six weeks of their wedding Robert died and was buried at Inglewood Park Cemetery. In July 2003, he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer which was the main reason for his death.

Ellen's ex-husband is married three times

It is a matter of fact, Robert has been married three times in his life. Prior marrying to Ellen he has already tied nuptial knots with other two women. In 1978 he exchanged wedding vows with famous TV personalities, Kris Kardashian. 

With whom he shares four children, Kourtney, Rob, Khloe, and Kimberly. Shortly after welcoming their last child, the pair got split. In 1991, they get officially divorced, however, it's the reason hasn't been still revealed. 

Denice Shakarian Halicki was the widow of producer, H.B. Halicki. The two got engaged in 1991 and later called off their engagement. In 1998, he married Jan Ashley after dating for a couple of years. Later after one month of marriage, they got separated.
