Ron Leavitt

Ron Leavitt was an American producer and television writer. He was one of the creators of the American television show Married... with children alongside Michael G. Moye which was the second longest-lasting sitcom on the Fox network.

Ronald Leavitt was born on 7th November 1947 and died on February 10, 2008. He was raised by Jewish parents in the city of Brooklyn. He holds American Nationality and his birth sign is Scorpio.

Married to Sharyn Leavitt

Ron Leavitt married Sharyn Leavitt after they met on the set of Married... with Children. The couple shares two children. His former wife was born on 15th April 1949 in Queens, New York, USA. 

Her birth name was Sharyn Lane and she changes her surname after marrying Ron Leavitt. Sharyn was a well-known actress who has starred in Sordid Lives, Married... with Children, and LA Law.

Ron and an American actress, model, Jessica Hahn met each other at the beginning of 1991 in the set of Married... with Children. In that period, Ron was a divorced man while Jessica on the other hand just gets breakup with the comedian Sam Kinison.

After meeting for the first time, Hahn and Leavitt shared a good bond and soon began their romantic affair. Following several months of dating the duo got engaged. The pair lived merrily for 17 years without any children. 

Everything was going fine. However, Ron's tragic separation on February 10, 2008, shattered the happiness of the lovely pair. Leavitt passed away in Sherman Oaks, California due to Lung Cancer, at the age of 60. Furthermore, Ron's first wife, Sharyn also died because of pancreatic cancer on March 7, 2005.

From 1970 Ron began his television career writing episodes for the comedies Happy Days, The Bad News Bears, Bustin' Loose, and Laverne and Shirley. He started writing and producing The Jeffersons in early 1980 for which he received a second NAACP award and People's Choice Award. 

He also co-created and executive produced the Jason Bateman sitcom It's Your Move and co-wrote the pilot for Silver Spoons. His massive turning came after co-creating Married... with Children in 1987 with Michael G. Moye on the Fox network. Married... with children lead him to gain seven Emmy nominations and an equal number of Golden Globe nominations, including Best TV Series.
