Rozene Cohran

Rozene Cohran is one of the popular names in the world of music. She is the proud wife of Charly Pride. Pride was an American guitarist, singer, and professional baseball player. 

He is a country singer who was the best-selling performer for RCA Records since legendary Elvis Presley. Moreover, he had fifty-two top-10 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

Country Musci Hall of Famer, Charley was born on 18th March 1934 in Sledge, Mississippi, United States. He was the fourth of eleven kids of poor sharecroppers. His elder brother, Mack Pride is in Ministry who previously played in Negro League baseball. 

Furthermore, at the age of fourteen, his mother bought him a guitar but he ended up being a professional baseball player. He has played for clubs like Memphis Red Sox, Boise Yankees, Missoula Timberjacks.

Rozene and Charley met one another for the first time back in 1953. At that period of time, Pride was playing baseball for Memphis Red Sox in Memphis, Tennessee. After the first met, Pride fell for Rozene and the two started dating.

Soon the couple started spending quality time and got involved in a very serious relationship. In 1956 during the Christmas holiday, they accepted one another as husband and wife.c

Parents of three kids, two sons, and one daughter

Mr. and Mrs. Pride are proud couples and are good examples of love in the music industry. They remain together for almost seventeen years and enjoyed one another companionship. During this long nuptial journey, the beautiful musical couple is blessed with three wonderful kids.

Two sons, Kraig Pride and Dion Pride, and one daughter, Angela Pride. As of now all three kids are full-grown and are pursuing their respective careers. Furthermore, Charley and Rozene are also grandparents and great grandparents of five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. As of now, all Pride families are currently residing in Dallas, United States.

Husband, Charley Pride died at the age of Eighty-six

Charley has been one of the most influential personalities out there in the musical world. His words and deeds are loved and appreciated by everyone. However, Charley took his last breath on 12th December 2020 in Dallas at the age of eight-six.
