Ruth Todd is an American journalist and news reporter who has worked with the top-notch media stream. Moreover, she has also worked for various organizations including the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.

Ruth was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1961. She has not disclosed information about her parents or early life. She went to a local high school and then completed her graduation from Bringham Young University with a bachelors degree.

Todd was active in the stream of journalism since her college days. Prior to her graduation, she started working as a reporter and anchor for the KUTV News in Salt Lake City

After working over a decade, Todd parted from KSL to join KTVX on December 13, 2001. She joined the News 4 Utah as a co-host.

After her news career, she worked as a spokeswoman for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Currently, she is employed by Nu Skin Enterprises. She is also involved with the Primary Children's Medical Center, the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society. As a part of her volunteering, she ran the St. George Marathon in 2001.
