During his college years, Ryan formed a boy band named Take 5. Along with his brother, Jeff Goodell, and other members, Ryan formed the band in 1997. Unfortunately, the band dissolved four years later. Ryan then graduated from Loyola Marymount University

Ryan met his future wife and the love of his life, Nikki Deloach, during his time in the band. However, at that time, both of them didn't know they would end up getting married. They started dating after their first encounter in 1999.

Finally, a Husband After Years of Dating

Ryan and Nikki first met in 1999 when Ryan was still with his band Take 5. An article in the "USmagazine" stated that the couple met at the height of the band Take 5. In 2001, the band decided to break off, and Ryan and Nikki grew much closer to each other.

Ryan started dating Nikki at 19. Both of them were young at the time of dating. The couple decided to date for ten years before they were pronounced husband and wife. After a decade of dating, Ryan and Nikki married on September 5, 2009.

It was not long before they brought two additional members into their family. Ryan and Nikki welcomed their baby boy, Hudson Goodwell, on October 22, 2013. Five years after their firstborn, the couple decided to have another baby, Bennett Goodell, born on September 20, 2017

Ryan's Child, Bennett, Suffering From Heart Defects

Bennett, the second son of Ryan and Nikki, had to go under surgery right after his birth. Nikki was informed about her son's defects at five months pregnant. In an article in PEOPLE, the doctors informed them that their son might not survive, which devastated both Ryan and Nikki.

At this time of distress, the couple said Hudson was their best support. The couple said their son would put a smile on their faces no matter how upset they were. Nikki visited Children's Hospital Los Angeles on the recommendation of her friend Kelly Zajfen.

Fortunately, Nikki was able to give birth to Bennett. Bennet was born September 20, 2017, and shared birthdays with NIkki's late grandfather. However, nothing had been resolved yet, Bennett had to be rushed to surgery right after his birth.

A Miracle: Bennett Survived the Impossible

Bennett underwent open heart surgery five days after his birth. Like a miracle, Bennett survived the surgery, which most children don't. It was all thanks to the surgeon Vaughn Starnes, who did the impossible by completing the surgery.

But still, things did not end there. Bennett had to be monitored strictly. The doctors had to leave his heart open and to keep Bennett alive, they had to place him in an oxygen chamber. This was very difficult for Ryan and Nikki to watch and go through.

Bennett Finally Out of Danger

After weeks of monitoring and healing, Bennett was finally out of danger. His heart was put back after further tests were done. Ryan and Nikki brought back Bennett home after spending a long time at the hospital.

However, Bennett might have to go through another surgery in the future. Still, he was fine at the moment. The couple shared their experience and nightmares looking after Bennett after they brought him back home. Six years later, Bennett is safe, with a scar on his chest called the "Brave Bennett Scar."

Ryan Goodell's Career and Profession 

If we're talking about the career of Ryan Goodell, we already know he graduated from a Law school. He currently works as a legal representative. However, before graduating from law school, Ryan was part of a band named, "Take 5."

Ryan was a member of the boy band "Take 5" along with his brother and his band members Tilky Jones, Stevie Sculthorpe, and Tim "TJ" Christofore. The band became famous in 1999 when they released an album that peaked #26 on the Billboard. 

On the other hand, his wife Nikki is famous as an American actress and former model. She was part of the Georgia 4-H performing Arts group Clovers&Company from 1991 to 1994. Recently, she starred as Lacey Hamilton on MTV's "Awkward".
