The 70-year-old, Sarah Kennedy MBE is a British radio and television broadcaster. She is mostly popular for her own daily morning radio show, The Dawn Patrol on BBC Radio 2 which she presented from 1993-2010. Further, she was appointed as a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for her broadcast services.

After presenting The Dawn Patrol since January 1993, Sarah left the station in September 2010. It was speculated that she departed from BBC Radio 2 due to a drinking problem. However, Kennedy blamed that an "enemy" spread those rumors and denied suggestions that she has been forced out because of a drinking problem.

While talking with Daily Telegraph, Sarah told: "I have never, never, never in my life gone into the BBC other than being stone-cold sober." Sarah always told that lack of adequate sleep made her tired.
