On July 6, 2017, the former couple filed the divorce in Charles County District Court, after 24 years of union. After the separation, Sharon is not seen with anyone in other relationships. She's still loving her single life now and living with her children elegantly.

The former duo shares three children from her marital relationship. The babies names are Hartley Acosta, Peter Acosta, and the name of the third child is still private.

Two Decades of Marriage Ended by 2017

The nurse who studied at the University of James Madison, Stow Acosta, and her sweetheart, Jim Acosta, officially parted their ways in 2017. Subsequent news following the announcement of the divorce reported that the former couple was married for more than 24 years.

This divorced couple, however, remained private about the reason for divorcing. A source disclosed to Page Six that Acosta was involved in an extramarital affair, but the reporting remains unregulated to date.
