Speck Mellencamp

Speck Mellencamp is the son of John Mellencamp, an American musician who is widely popular for his heartland rock genre. For his outstanding musical performances, he received a Grammy Award for the best rock vocal performance on his song, Hurts So Good, and nominated for a MTV Video Music Award for his album, John Mellencamp: Get a Leg Up.

The pair had their first encounter during the photoshoot of John's music album, Whenever We Wanted in October 1991, and after the shooting, they began dating. They later got engaged in August 1992 after dating for ten weeks.

Pleading Guilty for Public Intoxication

The 25-year-old Speck charged with public intoxication after breaking the law enforcement in Monroe County, New York, on 16th July 2017. The incident was caused by a conflict between Speck and his older brother out the Jimmy John's at Kirkwood Avenue and Dunn Street in Bloomington.

At the time of the altercation, Speck has blood all over his face and wasn't able to give specific information about the cause of their conflict. The Mellencamp brothers were very uncooperative with the Monroe Co Correctional Police. 

As a result, Speck and his brother were sentenced to 25 hours of community service and 194days on unsupervised court probation.
