Sweta Singh was born on August 21, 1977, in Panta, Bihar, India. However, she hasn't revealed much about her parents' and siblings' yet. Similarly, she holds an Indian nationality and belongs to Punjabi. 

Sweta joined the Patna Women's University and completed her bachelor's degree in Mass Communication. She began to work as a reporter from her early days of a bachelor degree. Currently, 43 years old, Sweta is working as a news anchor and Executive Editor of Special Program at Aaj Tak.
