Moura is famous for his portrayal of Pablo Escobar in the Narcos series alongside Pedro Pascal. Additionally, Wagner came to limelight for his appearance in Elite Squad and its sequel, Elite Squad: The Enemy Within.

Wagner Moura was born as Wagner Maniçoba de Moura on June 27, 1976, in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. His father, Jose Moura, was a sergeant in Brazilian Air Force and mother Alderiva Moura worked at home looking after the children. He started his career working as a journalist after graduating from the Federal University of Bahia. 

Wagner's Married for Two Decades

Wagner married Sandra Delgado in 2001 who is a journalist and photographer. The love birds are very much supportive of each other in personal and professional life. As Wagner remains busy with the films and shooting, the children stay with Sandra.

As per the reports of News Week, Pablo's brother Roberto wanted $1 Billion to seeking monetary compensation for using his brother's story, name and likeness. 

Roberto registered successor-in-interest rights over his sibling and family name in California in 2015 through a company called Escobar Inc.
