An actress and television host, Vanessa Lachey has been a household face for a long time. She first rose to fame as a well-sought host for many MTV shows in early 2000, including Total Request Live, The Real World, and MTV Hits. Her notable acting credits include NCIS: Hawaii, Dads, and Truth Be Told.

Born Vanessa Joy Minnillo on November 9, 1980, in the Philippines, her initial foray into the glamour world started with beauty pageants. Vanessa has since come far along in her career, and her personal life, which has very much overlapped with her professional ventures. Lachey's conjugal life with Nick Lachey has brought her inundated attention throughout her career.

A few months after Nick's split from Jessica went public, Vanessa and the 98 Degrees singer's quick and budding romance became the talk of the town. Considering Lachey's high-profile marriage with Simpson and their overtly publicized divorce proceedings, Vanessa was bound to get blasted in the process.    

The NCIS: Hawaii actress admitted to facing a hard time amid Nick's public divorce from Simpson, who, in her tell-all memoir, express her sadness over Nick jumpstarting another relationship so quickly. After navigating what was surely a testing few years, Vanessa and Nick tied the knot on July 15, 2011.  

The Lachey couple swiftly followed their wedding news with the announcement of their first pregnancy in March 2012. Vanessa and Nick went on to welcome three kids and have gone on record saying no to any more children. "The shop is closed," announced the former beauty queen.   

The enduring couple has been co-hosting Netflix's Love is Blind tv series since 2020. The fourth season of the show premiered on the streaming service in March 2023, and the Lachey couple returned as its co-host, but there has been a slight change. Fans apparently want Vanessa and Nick ousted as its hosts.   

Viewers have even signed and circulated a change.org petition titled "Remove Nick and Vanessa Lachey as the Hosts of Love is Blind." The petition has received more than 21k signatures until now. Fans complain that the Lachey couple is constantly drawing attention to themselves instead of focusing on the contestants.

The former Miss Teen USA, along with her singer-turned-host husband, are doting parents to three kids, namely, sons Camden, 10, and Phoenix, 6, and daughter Brooklyn, 8. The Lachey couple's life as dedicated parents is an open book.   

The twosome often shares anecdotes of their kids' weird shenanigans and has talked extensively on their parenthood journey. The Love is Blind co-hosts welcomed their firstborn, Camden, on September 12, 2012. Even though all three of Vanessa's kids are too young to be pursuing any profession, they've certainly inherited their parents' good genes.  

Camden, for instance, seems to be a singer in the making. The 98 Degrees star shares a special bond with his firstborn and had been candid about Camden's innate musical talent. "It's nice when they naturally gravitate to the same passions that you have," Nick once said.    

Fans filed a petition to remove Vanessa and Nick as the hosts of 'Love is Blind' 

The duo's second kid, Brooklyn, born in January 2015, was Vanessa and Nick's dream coming to fruition. The Philippines-born actress says how she had dreamed of becoming a mom to a girl. Dishing on her daughter's best personality traits, the Love Is Blind host describes Brooklyn as "super intuitive, very smart, and very sweet."  

The couple's youngest, Phoenix, born in December 2016, was a premature baby, due to which he contracted a Virus during birth. Phoenix successfully overcame the health scare and is now a thriving kid. The family of five recently took a sunny getaway to Cabo San Lucas.  

"Taking much-needed family time this summer! Gracias Cabo for the memories," Vanessa wrote in a loving post. Before Nick, the NCIS: Hawaii actress dated Derek Jeter. She has also been linked with actor Orlando Bloom.
