People get popularity in a variety of ways, including their profession, and family background. Zachary Ailes is one of many who has risen to prominence as a result of his father's legacy. His father is none other than the late television executive and media consultant, Roger Ailes.

Roger was a well-known individual who served as the CEO and Chairman of the Fox Television Stations, Fox New and 20th Television. Moreover, he wrote a book named You Are the Message: Secrets of the Master Communicators in 1988 with Jon Kraushar.

When Zachary Ailes Was Born?

Zachary Ailes was born in 2000 in the United States when Roger was 60 years old. He is the single child of Ailes and his wife, Elizabeth Tilson, who is a publisher and owner of The Putnam County News and Recorder and The Putnam County Courier.

Zac further is the grandson of Donna Marie Cunningham and Robert Eugene Ailes. As of today, Zac must be studying at the college.  

Father, Roger Ailes' Allegations

During his work at Fox, the TV executive Roger was accused of sexual harassment by several female Fox employees. At first, Casey Close filed a lawsuit at the New Jersey Superior Court of sexual harassment against him saying she was fired from the network for not sleeping with him.

Then, in July 2016, Gretchen Carlson, a former Fox News anchor, sued her old boss Ailes in a New Jersey Superior Court. She said she was dismissed for refusing his approaches, but he denied the allegations. However, she and Fox had a $20 million settlement.

Three days later, Gabriel Sherman's published statements from six women two publicly and four anonymously alleging sexual harassment by Ailes. In response, Roger issued a statement claiming that the most recent charges, which date back 30 to 50 years, are untrue.

Also, the chairman of Fox News, Megyn Kelly accused him of sexual harassment at the start of her career at Fox in 2017.

Parents' (Roger and Elizabeth) Relationship

Until Roger's passing or at the very end, his third wife, Elizabeth remained loyal to Ailes. Now talking about their love story, the couple had their first interaction at CNBC. 

During that time, she was working as a programming executive. After few months, they got married on the 14th of February 1998 in a private ceremony. He was 58 and she was just 37. 

Two years later of their nuptials, they welcomed their single son, Zachary Ailes. Not to mention, after hearing all of his accusations, she was traumatized but always supported her husband no matter what. In fact, she was extremely supportive of him until his death on May 18, 2017, at 77. 

He died from a brain injury at his Palm Beach, Florida home. Before marrying her, Roger Eugene was married twice, Marjorie White from 1960 to 1977 and Norma Ferrer from 1981 to 1995.
