Bio and Early Life

Zainab Abbas was born on February 14, 1988, in Lahore, Pakistan. She is the daughter of Nasir Abbas, a national cricketer and Andleeb Abbas, a politician. Her father was a bowler for the cricket teams, Faisalabad and Hafizabad.

Her mother Andleeb works for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf party as a senior member. Further, she has a brother named Haider Abbas Mirza, born on December 14.

Abbas studied at the University of Warwick, England, where she received an MBA in Marketing and Strategy where another journalist, Ritula Shah also studied.
