Who is Ritula Shah?

Are you a news enthusiast? If yes, you must be familiar with the BBC News presenter Ritula Shah. Ritula worked on a variety of Midlands television and radio programs and then relocated to Today. She created and edited the eight-year flagship breakfast program before joining the 1999 BBC World Service as one of World Today's presenters, a weekly news show.

Ritula was born in 1967 in Barnet as Ritula Harakhchand Shah. She studied history at the University of Warwick and graduated in 1988 at Haberdashers Aske's School for Girls, Elstree. Ritula barely shares any information about her personal life, so there are no details about her parents, siblings, and early life. As per our speculation Shah belongs to Asian ethnicity.

Shah started off her career by joining the manufacturing team of Radio 4. Then, she moved from there to regional news on television and then worked as a producer to Today in 1991. Shah became one of its presenters when The World Today launched on the World Service in 1999. She is a presenter at The Real Story of the BBC World Service.

She launched a series of eight episodes in the interview series of the BBC Radio 4 One to One in May 2013. Because she belongs to a Jain family (the Jain religion is about renunciation), the topics of her interviews are individuals whose lives involve renunciation. Ritula is still active in BBC News.

Personal Life: Who is her Husband?

Well, it is pretty weird that the famous News Presenter like Ritula hasn't given out the details about her personal life. She could be married or single. Shah has never been spotted with a guy other than her co-anchor.

She is pretty conscious about her link-up rumors and controversies. Since she has never been spotted with any guy, it is likely that she doesn't have any children.

Rumors & Controversies

Ritula is the kind of person who likes to grab the details about other personal rumors and controversies rather than being the topic of controversies. Shah is solely focused on her career and has never been dragged to any kind of rumors and scandals.

Net Worth & Salary

It's it obvious that working in a popular News Television Ritula earns a really good amount of money. Shah has always been very hardworking and dedicated News reporter of all times, so her net worth is around $500 thousand. Her income is increasing with the course of time, but the details about her actual salary are still under review.

While this may vary, depending on circumstances and work, from a minimum of $14,000 to a maximum of $87,000.

Her salary maybe around $50,000 because she is an all-time highly qualified anchor. Likewise, Shah's other properties, including house and vehicles, are not detailed. The primary source of revenue for Hockings is their field of journalism.

Just like Shah, Mishal Husain, Martha Kearney, Sarah Montague earns pretty good earning from their News Presenting career.
