Abigail co-moderated the seventh Democratic Debate of the 2020 election at Drake University on January 14, 2020. The reporter appeared alongside Wolf Blitzer and Brianne Pfannenstiel.

Abby Criticized for her Question

The Hill and Washington Examiner criticized her for bias in moderating the Democratic Debate. Recently, as per the reports in The Hill, Abby was criticized for her question to Sen. Elizabeth Warren on Sen. Bernie Sander's statement about women winning Presidential election.

She asked Sen. Elizabeth Warren on her opinion on Sen. Sander's comment on a woman could not win the Presidential election. Sen. Sanders flatly denied such thing saying he never said that, in fact, in his video from 30-years ago, Sen. Bernie claimed that he thought how a woman could become the president of the United States.

The critics claimed Abby shouldn't have framed such a question, and media commentators like Rich Lowry and David Folfenflik questioned moderator Abby.
