On April 8, 2017, Swilley was there at Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville, N.Y., during Tajiri's live birth. "He's the most adorable, little giraffe I've ever seen. I'm absolutely in love!", she stated.

Afterward, April's pregnancy became a worldwide phenomenon where people from all over the globe flew to glimpse the beloved giraffes. Tajiri who was born at 9:54 A.M. Eastern Time was 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 129 pounds weighed.

Now, he recently celebrated his second birthday in early 2002.
