Yancey's partner actually buys low-priced houses in the Las Vegas Valley through its real estate brokerage, Goliath Company. And then the houses are renovated to sell as soon as possible, with a low budget and a fast schedule.

To date, they have sold around 1,000 homes for the Goliath Company.  In 2019 the couple sold a remodeled 1949 farmhouse to actress Reese Witherspoon in Malibu, California for $6.25 million.

The series was extremely controversial for the network and was considered fraudulent by several other real estate firms. Thus, after leaving the show, Amie and his husband Scott founded Yancey Events. The two have countrywide activities including educational workshops on investment in real estate.
