Amie Yancey

Real estate agent and interior designer, Amie Yancey shot to the spotlight after starring the A&E's Hit Show Flipping Vegas, with her husband, Scott Yancey. Originally from Canada, she has sold more than 700 new homes since moving to Las Vegas in 2004 with Scott.

Yancey was born on August 30, 1967, in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada to the parents Stephen and Carol. For her education, she studied at the Lethbridge College Institue in drama. So far, she holds Canadian citizenship and is of white ethnicity.

Joyfully Married for Two Decades

52, Yancey is happily married to her long-time boyfriend turned husband, Scott Yancey, 50. He is also a TV personality, real estate investor, businessman, and author as well.

Likewise, the couple had first met in 1988 while attending college together. Then after long time of dating for 12 years, the Flipping Vegas' partner exchanged the wedding vows on January 26, 2000 at an private ceremony.

The big day of Amie and Scott was eloped in the US Virgin Islands on the island of St. John among their friends and family. For now, the married duo is living a peaceful life, enjoying their 20th wedding anniversary without any rumors of divorce.

They moved from Park City, Utah to Las Vegas after four years of marriage to start Goliath Business, a real estate firm.

Mother of one Daughter

Amie and her husband Scott Yancey have not shared any biological children together from the conjugal relationship. She, however, share a daughter named Sarah with her ex-partner from her previous marriage.

A daughter Sarah married her husband, Mitch at a private function. Moreover, they share a baby who was born on October 16, 2018. 

Similarly, the Yancey has Rhodesian ridgeback dogs together named Tallulah, Flip, and Zuma despite having no kids at home. The family also owns two horses named Heinke, Time, a mini-donkey named JackAss and two mini-pigs called Bacon, Lucy.

The show, Flipping Vegas

Flipping Vegas, an American reality television show, was broadcast on A&E in the United States from June 18, 2011, to September 27, 2014. It features Scott Yancey and Amie Yancey with their Goliath Company brokerage realtors as they buy, repair, and flip houses in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Yancey's partner actually buys low-priced houses in the Las Vegas Valley through its real estate brokerage, Goliath Company. And then the houses are renovated to sell as soon as possible, with a low budget and a fast schedule.

To date, they have sold around 1,000 homes for the Goliath Company.  In 2019 the couple sold a remodeled 1949 farmhouse to actress Reese Witherspoon in Malibu, California for $6.25 million.

The series was extremely controversial for the network and was considered fraudulent by several other real estate firms. Thus, after leaving the show, Amie and his husband Scott founded Yancey Events. The two have countrywide activities including educational workshops on investment in real estate.
