Ariana Rockefeller

Ariana Rockefeller is an American amateur showjumper and fashion designer. She is widely recognized as the great-great-granddaughter of John D. Rockefeller, who is the founder of Standard Oil. 

Ariana was born on 26th May 1982 in the United States of America, where another designer Angel Brinks was also born. Born to her American parents Diana Newell Rockefeller and David Rockefeller Jr., she is of White ethnicity and holds an American nationality.

Ariana Rockefeller was married to Bucklin

The famous fashion designer was a married woman. On 4th September 2010, Ariana Rockefeller exchanged her wedding vows with her former husband, Matthew Bucklin. 

Their wedding ceremony took place in Seal Harbor Maine, which is located on the southeastern part of Mount Desert Island in Hancock County. More precisely, the matrimonial function held at the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Garden which was created by the bride's great-grandmother. Around 400 guests were invited to their big day of celebration.

The couple stayed together for nine years until they began facing problems. On 30th October 2019, NY Post reported that Rockefeller and her husband are separating. The divorce was finally finalized in April 2019, without leaving any reason behind the split.

Ariana and her former partner Matthew did not have any children in their nine years of marriage. The old couple was pretty low key about their marriage. After the divorce, Rockefeller seems to be living a single life, as seen on her social media.

Multi-talented fashion designer and entrepreneur makes decent money from her professions. Rockefeller has a staggering net worth, which is estimated to be in billions of dollars, which is more than another fashion designer Tanya Taylor.

Despite her own earning, Ariana inherited her grand father's $3.5 billion wealth, which he left for the family after death. Additionally, Rockefeller also makes decent money from her fashion line named The SIL. The fashion line has various products with prices starting from $350.

Started her career as a fashion designer

Soon after graduating from Columbia University, in Bachelors of Political Science, Ariana turned her career into the fashion world. Rockefeller started designing and launched her fashion line named The SIL in 2011. 

The line was a successful business as she opened another store named The Pop-up Shop after three years in Manhattan. The following year, Ariana also launched a various range of handbags which were designed by famous designer Bassam Ali. 

Ariana is also famous for her contribution to sports and charity works

The billionaire fashion designer is also an athlete. Rockefeller was fond of horse riding since the early age of three. During her high school days, Ariana developed her interest in show jumping and took part in various contests.

However, Ariana left the sports due to some reasons and returned in 2012. Since then, she is actively participating in show jumping. In 2015, the famous designer became fourth during the Hampton Classic tournament. 

Not to mention, she is also involved in charity works as the board of the nonprofit David Rockefeller Fund. The organization helps the Humane Society of the United States. Ariana, moreover, served as the chairman of the New York Botanical Garden's Winter Ball for a few years.
