Barbarella Cassavetes is one of those personalities who is famous as the daughter of an American actor, writer and director, Nick Cassavetes, and his second wife, Heather Wahlquist.

Celebrity daughter, Barbarella was born in the year 2005 in Los Angeles, United States. As of 2019, she is around 14 years. She holds American citizenship and is of white ethnicity.

Aged 14 Barbarella is focusing more on her studies rather than being involved in any kind of relationship. 

So far, Notebook director claimed his estranged partner Heather Wahlquist kidnapped their daughter in 2017 in Oklahoma. He has filed a complaint against Wahlquist for breaking their custody agreement and claims to have attempted to contact his daughter but switched off her cell phone.

Cassavetes told TMZ the teen's grandmother and aunty were helping Wahlquist keep her undercover. He stated: 

''We believe her family, grandmother Linda Massad and great aunt Jeanette Massad Anderson have been assisting in hiding Barbie and have also been served ... I don't know if she is OK or not, and I am extremely concerned for her well-being,"

Nick was said to have Barbie's custody from December 18 to January 8,  but Heather never revealed it. In fact, according to her mother's statement, she wanted to keep the girl away from her father for her own good, as Nick Cassavetes was an unattended guardian and struggled with gambling and abuse of drugs.

On Friday, 2017, both Cassavetes and Wahlquist filed applications for emergency custody, and the manager is found to be the parent with "current legal custody" according to TMZ.

On the other hand, mother, Wahlquist claimed that Nick wants revenge for leaving him and reportedly told Heather when she left, ''I'm going to make a living hell for your life.'' She even mentioned that it was Nick who stole the kid for revenge.

Parents' (Heather and Nick) Marital Relationship

Mother, Wahlquist, and father, Cassavetes, first met on the set of 2002 film John Q. They evntually fell in love and engaged one month later. 

The lovebirds then tied the nuptial knot privately among their family members. After living for years, they finally divorced in 2012.

On the other hand, Dad, Nick Cassavetes, was once wedded to his first wife, Isabelle Rafalovich. They tied the knot on 8th September 1985 in the United States among closed family members and family. The groom and bride's wedding ceremony was held at "Dyker Beach Golf Course Catering Hall."

Two Half Siblings

This cute girl has two older siblings from her dad's previous relationship with Isabella. Virginia Cassavetes is the first child, who was born on March 27, 1986. Her elder sister Virginia is an actress and writer who is known for The Other Woman (2014) and Skin (2013).

Similarly, Barbarella's second half-sister Sasha Cassavetes  was born on May 17, 1988.  Soon after the birth, she underwent a substantial operation with a heart defect. 

After the complication, her father wrote films like John Q and My Sister's Keeper which were dedicated to Sasha's whole medical experience.
