Who is Clarice Tinsley?
Clarice Tinsley is an American broadcast journalist. She is well known for her appearance as an anchor for KDFW-TV, now known as Fox O&O. Tinsley is also recognized for her portrayals in television movies and series including, Prison Break, The Good Guys, Texas Ranger, Dallas, and Walker.
The famous journalist was born on 31st December 1954, in Detroit, Michigan. Being born to American father Clarance Tinsley and mother Janet Tinsley, she holds an American nationality and belongs to Afro-American ethnicity.
She finished her High school at Beaubien Junior High School and Samuel C. Mumford High School. Later she gained her B.A. degree in radio, television, and film via Wayne State University.
Clarice began her journalism career in 1975 at WITI-TV located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as a general assignment reporter, later promoted to co-anchor of the weekday noon news.
After working for three years, Tinsley left the channel and joined KDFW-TV, as a news anchor for the ten o' clock news. Till date, Clarice has managed to cover numerous major events which include the fall of the Berlin Wall, Hurricane Alicia, and Operation Desert Storm.
In the year 1995, she founded Clarice's Hometown Heroes. Additionally, Tinsley has also appeared in television production such as Wishbone, Texas Ranger, Walker, The Good Guys, and Prison Break.
Additionally, she has also received the George Foster Peabody Award, two Emmy Awards, a DuPont-Columbia Citation Award and more.

Currently, Tinsley is working as a member of the Board of Directors of Girls Scouts of Northeast Texas and SLANT. Additionally, she is also the Advisory Board Member of St. Phillip's School.
