Helen and Richie's marriage ceremony took place at Kirkby Thore's St Michael's church in Skelton's childhood village, not far from Penrith in Cumbria. For the big day, the bride wore a sleeveless white long-lace wedding dress with a silver satin belt around the waist. She completed her look with a lace veil and a beaded headband. On the other hand, the groom wore a black suit, complete with a white shirt and bow tie.

Though Helen and her husband are big celebrities, they kept their wedding mostly a family affair. Most of their guests include their relatives and close friends. After marriage, Helen sometimes uses the last name Skelton-Myler.

Helen and Richie, 31, already share two young sons, the eldest son, Ernie Myler, was born in June 2015, whereas in April 2017, they welcomed their second child, son Louis Myler. Ernie and Louis spent part of their childhood in France after Myler signed for the French club.
