Cris Collinsworth is a popular name in American football history. He is a former professional American football player who received fame in the National Football League. He played eight successful seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals during the 1980s.

The two met one another for the first time at the University of Cincinnati. They were both students of that particular university where they grew their friends. Later that friendship turned into a very beautiful relationship, and the couple began their dating life. 

In 1989, the two accepted one another as husband and wife; it was the same year Chris retired from professional hockey. On that occasion, numerous players and coaches from the NFL were seen there to greet the newlywed couple.

Their second son, Jack Collinsworth, 26, is a sports reporter serving as a co-host on Football Night in America at NBC. He previously worked for ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown. 

Similarly, their eldest's daughter, Katie Collinsworth Hughes, 31, works as a manager o Business Marketing at Golf Channel's GolfNow. And youngest daughter, Ashley, 28, is a Harvard Graduated who is serving as a sales coordinator at 21c Museum Hotels.

His brother's name is Greg Collinsworth, with whom he attended Astronaut High School. Later he joined the University of Florida and started his footballing career.
