Kurt Emanuel Naugles (father) and Anna Lee Naugles (mother). Daren's father, Kurt, passed away on June 19, 1981. He was a member of the US Air Force.

Darren has three brothers Derreck Naugles, Kurt Kortez Naugles, Marcus Naugles, and has a sister named Lynn Baker. Darren and Derreck are twin brothers. 

Coming to Daren's education, he earned his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from Clark Atlanta University. Similarly, he received a Master's degree in Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine. Likewise, from Howard University Hospital, Daren received a degree in Emergency Medicine.
