The divorce settlement between Herjavec and Plese was elongated for several years. There were lots of financial disputes with Diane disagreeing on the true extent of the Canadian businessman's net worth.

Plese requested the court to order Herjavec to pay this amount but was denied. The court, however, ordered Robert to pay about $167,000 to Diane as monthly spousal and child support. Similarly, Diane also received $20 Million from the sales of various properties.

In 2019, the Optometrist once again pleaded that her former husband had other hidden properties. For this, she was paid $2.6 Million tagged equalization payment and $2.8 Million after selling the properties of Florida and Caledon.
