The Lavish Marriage Ceremony...
For the big day, the couple invited all their guests to share their happiness at Kew Gardens in London. On May 28, 2016, the EastEnders actress exchanged wedding vows with her TV presenter husband Rick Edwards in front of their loved ones.
Prior to the nuptials, the couple was in a relationship for around five years. In 2011, the pair first met each other and gradually they fell in love with each other. Their bond is inseparable and maybe that's their biggest strength going forward in their new life together.

For the ceremony, Emer wore a strapless, ivory gown while Rick arrived on a grey suit. Both of them looked very stunning and perfect for each other. Not just that, her stunning gold strappy sandals of Jimmy Choo and scarlet sky-high heels were also the highlight in her attire.
Later, she posted a picture of her pair of expensive sandals. They were on cloud nine and Kenny did not even want the moment to pass. While sharing pics to her fans, she wrote,
"One more because I'm in a rainy car park in Gloucestershire and I'm Not ready for it to be over."
Furthermore, Rick also posted a photo of his beautiful bride and him holding her hand. He captioned the image,
"NO BIG DEAL GUYS".
Along with their friends and family, EastEnders star cast and Rick TV colleagues filled the venue. Stars like Jake Wood and his wife Indra Petersons, Gillian Taylforth, Kellie Bright, Adam Woodyatt, and Alexa Chung to name a few arrived to congratulate the newlywed couple. Chung took to social media as well to wish all the success in the newlywed married life. She wrote,
"Congratulations to these dons!!!!! @rickedwards1 @missemerkenny".
While many attended the ceremony, some of Rick's friends, four to be precise dropped out of the wedding. Edwards being himself jokingly said, they were not going to be friends anymore.

The couple is working round the clock as they are super busy. Both of them are enjoying each other's company and currently not looking to expand their family. The evidence of their hard work reflects right after the couple's matrimony.
Right after their big day was over, Emer went on to shoot for her new television show. To do this, the pair even canceled their honeymoon. Rick Edwards joined his wife on the location of her work showing his support for her work.
The couple might be looking to continue their family tree but as of now, they do not have any children together.
