Inside Michael Strahan's two marriages and his life as a father of four!  

Currently thriving as a sports commentator and television host, Michael Strahan once boasts a prolific career in NFL. He spent his entire 15-year-long career playing as a defensive end for the New York Giants. During his long stint in the NFL, Strahan won many accolades, including a Super Bowl championship and AP defensive player of the Year. 

Born November 21, 1971, in Houston, in an athletic family, Strahan was drafted by the Giants in the second round in 1993. The 6.5 tall star player retired from the NFL in 2007 and joined Fox NFL Sunday, branching his sports expertise to the other side.  

Michael Strahan's Failed Marriages! 

Despite his two failed marriages, Strahan is and will always be a family man. "I think marriage is great, I really do," the former NFL star said after his second divorce from Jean Muggli. The Good Morning America co-host was married to interior designer, Wanda Hutchins, from 1992 to 1996.   

The athlete was a teenager when he started dating Hutchins. The couple's young relationship resulted in the birth of Strahan's first kid, Tanita, in 1991, following which the duo tied the knot in 1992. It wasn't long before the two realized that they were too young to be married and tending to their conjugal life-like real adults.   

The retired NFL star defined his marriage with Hutchin as "kids playing adults." The duo welcomed their son, Michael, in 1994, and finalized their divorce two years later in 1996. Strahan shares a cordial relationship with Hutchins, who he says is his "best friend" to this day.   

The New York Giants alum married his second wife, Muggli, in 1999. Strahan met Jean at her spa and a whirlwind romance unfolded which soon turned into walking down the aisle the same year they met. Michael's second marriage probably left a bitter taste in his mouth as it ended within months of its commencement.  

The sports analysts filed for divorce from Muggli shortly after the birth of his twins, although, the divorce was only finalized in 2006. Amid his unraveling nuptial, the Giant alum had started seeing someone overseas.  

Michael had accused Jean of showing a "pattern of abusive conduct towards the children for years," while Jean accused Strahan of domestic violence. The Fox analyst dodge questions about his infidelity and vehemently denied ever harming his then-wife in any way. "That's simply not the man I am," Strahan said.  

The estranged pair were embroiled in a custody battle for their kids for years. Strahan's ex, Jean, was awarded $15 million in the divorce settlement and the two agreed on the shared custody of their twin daughters, in 2020.  

"It's unfortunate that some marriages don't always work out for both parties, but that's a painful reality of the times we live in," the NFL alum said of his failed marriage with Jean.   

Who is Michael Strahan Dating?  

Michael has been off the market for a long time. The Super Bowl winner has been dating Kayla Quick since 2015. Blame it on his negatively publicized relationship with Muggli or not, but the former football star has been extra cautious with his current girlfriend.  

Strahan and Quick's hush-hush romance rarely makes public appearances but there have been some exceptions over the years. The long-term couple flaunted their enduring chemistry earlier this year when Strahan's Hollywood Walk of Fame was unveiled. Kayla, 33, is 18 years younger than her beau, who is 51.  

Inside Michael Strahan's Blended Family!  

Any Strahan fan would know that he is a father to four and how dedicated he is in the role. The Giants star shares his oldest two, Tanita, 31, and Michael Jr., 28, with his first ex-wife, Hutchins. Michael's two oldest kids spent the formative years of their life with their mother in Germany and later moved to the United States.   

Tanita has followed in her mom's footsteps and works as a designer. But personality-wise, Michael is proud to share that the oldest of the brood takes after him. "She's kind of like me in the sense that she has a very strong personality," said the proud father.  

Strahan's oldest son, Michael, on the other hand, is the private sibling. Not much is known about the second Strahan stud except that he graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio. The Fox Sports analyst shares twin daughters, Isabella, and Sophia, 18, with his second ex-wife, Jean.  

Strahan takes his single father duty very seriously!   

Despite being in the early stages of their life, the twin Strahan boasts quite the accomplishments. Isabella has a knack for volleyball and horse riding. In 2021, she was awarded the New York City History Day Award for her piece on the last American slave ship.  

Michael's other twin, Sophia, is a budding equestrian and also has a penchant for volleyball like her sister. The doting father of four recently commemorated Sophia's high school graduation on his Instagram. "My baby girl graduated. I am so proud of you," Strahan wrote alongside a sweet picture of him and Sophia.
