As per the report on the New York Times, Geoff tied the knot with Carolyn Elizabeth Perry who is a writer and editor in the communications department of the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board.

Geoff and Elizabeth recently celebrated their nine years anniversary this past August. Their intimate nuptials took place in 2010 in front of their beloved family and friends. Elizabeth arrived in a strapless white gown while Geoffrey looked dashing in his black suit with a bowtie.

The Swan House at Atlanta History Center saw the arrival of the bride and groom accompanied by their bridesmaids and groomsmen. Elizabeth walked down the aisle with her father to a place where Geoff waited for his beautiful wife.
All of the bridesmaids and groomsmen accompanied them in a black dress. The Reverand Dr. Otis Moss Jr. pronounced the pair husband and wife at the landing place of grand stairs in the Swam House. The duo also exchanged their personal wedding vows to tell each other how much they loved each other and will always be there for each other.

The NBC News correspondent posted a picture of his cute son, Jake Bennett for the first time on August 22, 2013, on his Insta. Bennett spends a lot of time with his family whenever he is free from his work.
