Geoffrey Bennett is Officially Off the Market!

On the historic residence of Swan House at Atlanta History Center, Geoff got hitched with his soulmate. As per reports published by The New York Times on July 23, 2010, the couple celebrated their union in front of their family and close friends.

The wedding was celebrated in a private affair but there are some pictures of the couples' big day. In fact, Geoff shared the pics on his Instagram during his eight-year anniversary. 

As per the report on the New York Times, Geoff tied the knot with Carolyn Elizabeth Perry who is a writer and editor in the communications department of the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board. 

The Wedding Details...

Geoff and Elizabeth recently celebrated their nine years anniversary this past August. Their intimate nuptials took place in 2010 in front of their beloved family and friends. Elizabeth arrived in a strapless white gown while Geoffrey looked dashing in his black suit with a bowtie.

The Swan House at Atlanta History Center saw the arrival of the bride and groom accompanied by their bridesmaids and groomsmen. Elizabeth walked down the aisle with her father to a place where Geoff waited for his beautiful wife.

All of the bridesmaids and groomsmen accompanied them in a black dress. The Reverand Dr. Otis Moss Jr. pronounced the pair husband and wife at the landing place of grand stairs in the Swam House. The duo also exchanged their personal wedding vows to tell each other how much they loved each other and will always be there for each other.   

They are Parents to a Cute Baby!

The NBC News correspondent posted a picture of his cute son, Jake Bennett for the first time on August 22, 2013, on his Insta. Bennett spends a lot of time with his family whenever he is free from his work.

Scrolling through the pairs' social media, we can see Bennett spending time with his son playing golf and traveling to his relatives during festivals. Mrs. Bennett accompanies the father-son but she tries to appear less in pictures. 

Even though Mrs. Bennett appears less in Insta pictures, the couple often spends their weekend by going out for a romantic dinner. 

Geoffrey Bennett Journey from ABC to NBC

Besides his family, Geoff also spends a lot of time with his second family of his NBC News colleagues. His journey started back in the days with ABC News but after several years, he joined NPR.

During his time at NPR, Geoff covered the news at the White House, Capitol Hill, and National Politics. In 2017, however, Geoff joined other news correspondents like Katy Tur, Anne Thompson, Rehema Ellis, Hallie Jackson, Kristen Welker, and many more in NBC News.
