Jacey Birch was previously married to Trent Aric Mong, weatherman of Local10. The duo was starting seeing each other in late 2013. Birch and Aric tied a knot on April 12, 2015, at the Four Seasons Resort, Bora Bora, in the presence of some close friends and family. Plus, they went to Sunset Motu, a tiny island of the south pacific, for their honeymoon.

When it comes to family, on September 7, 2016, Jacey and her spouse welcomed their first child, Jupiter Mong. Unfortunately, their son was born with only one functioning kidney.

The three years of the wedding between Birch and Mong do not last for long. At last, both end their marriage in April 2018 after the court hearing. Moreover, Trent was charged with a domestic array.

The first story Birch covered was the Y2K "crisis" on New Year's Eve. After six months, she got her next job at WDBJ in Roanoke, Virginia, reliable for daily weather reports and entertainment stories in Star City. It signified off to Nashville from Virginia, wherever Jacey was in charge of anchoring the weekend weathercasts and reporting from the field.

While at WZTV, Birch spent a week in South Carolina going for boot camp with the Marine trainees for a special series. At the same time, Jacey has consumed more than decades of reporting, anchoring, and covering events.
