Who is Katty Kay?

The anchor of the BBC World News, Katty Kay worked as a Washington, D.C. Representative in 2002. At Meet the Press and The Chris Matthews Show, she also became a frequent guest panelist. As for now, Kay is serving as an anchor for the BBC World News and Journalist. 

Katty Kay was born in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, UK, on November 14, 1964, as Katherine Kay. Her dad was a diplomat from Britain, and her mother was a reporter. She is a British citizen and belongs to the ethnicity of English. 

Kay had her childhood in Blewbury, Berkshire and spent time in different nations in the Middle East as her parents moved from place to place due to their work. She started to attend Oxford University in Oxford, England and graduated from itself. She can talk to both Italian and French fluently. 

She started her career at the Bank of England after graduating from the university. Then, she worked for a short time there and left the job. She then moved to Zimbabwe, where she was working for an aid agency. Ever since then, she has a very flourishing career. As for now, she is serving in BBC as a news anchor with Christian Fraser. 

Kay is not only engaged in the journalism field, but she is also an author. In June 2009, Harper Collins released a book called Womenomics, written by Katty Kay and Claire Shipman. They both wrote another book called The Confidence Code together: Science and Self-Assurance Art — What Women Should Know.

Personal Life: Husband 

BBC World News America's leading anchor, Katty Kay is married to Tom Carver. He is both the former foreign reporter of the BBC and a writer. 

The professional career of the duo matches so does their soul. For several famous journals such as The Guardian, The Sunday Times, New Statesman, The Independent, etc., her spouse Carver has published as a writer. 

When Katty was only 24 years old, the couple married back in 1989. Although the couple isn't very open about their relationship, one of Katty's 2012 tweets shows that the couple is living a happy married life. 

Also, once in an interview, Katty said that when you want to have children, marriage is just a formality. She also suggested not to rush a young girl to get married and have kids. Despite having children, she likes to indicate that other woman twice before they have children.

There is barely any information on the internet about her children. However, the pair share four kids together: Felix Carver, Poppy Carver, Jade Carver, and Maya Carver. The couple is living a happy married life with four kids, keeping all the information behind the curtains.
