Kyle Selig's Pippin

Kyle Selig departed The Book of Mormon tour on July 26, 2014, to begin preparations for the national time of the musical Pippin, in which he played the title role. Selig practiced with Pippin's touring company but was put on voice rest only one week before Kyle began the tour. Pippin's IMDb rate was the most impressive rating at that time.

Kyle was then replaced by Matthew James Thomas, who played Pippin in the current Broadway production. Despite being on medical leave, Selig never returned to the touring company; instead, after Thomas departed the show, Kyle Dean Massey took his place.
