Leon Harris

Leon Harris is a well-established American journalist and newscaster. He has been in the industry for more than three decades. Leon started his career at CNN's world headquarters in Atlanta in the early 1980s as an unpaid intern while completing his degree.

Leon Harris was born on April 20, 1961, in Akron, Ohio. he is among the five children born to Leon Sr. and his wife, Lorrene Harris. He has three brothers and a sister. Nothing much about his parent's occupation is known to the media. He graduated with cum laude from Ohio University in 1983, majoring in communications.

It is a matter of the fact that Leon is a married man. He has been married for more than three decades. Leon is married to his longtime girlfriend, Dawn Harris. Dawn is a registered nurse at a local hospital. 

The duo had been dating for sometime before tying their knots. They tied their wedding knot on  August 30, 1986, in Franklin County, Ohio. As Leon was not much into public and was not famous so, there is not much information about his marriage with media.

Then after a few years, They welcomed a new member, a daughter, Lauren, in their family. Like that of her brother, Lauren is a graduate of Temple University. She is currently working as an early childhood educator who lives in Atlanta, GA.

It seems like the family of four is living a happy life on their own. Leon seems to be busy with this work, his wife in the Hospital, and so does his children.
