Les is working as the Instructor for Taekwondo for the last forty-five years. He is working in the AAU Taekwondo Executive Committee for over 20 years.

During his early time in Taekwondo, he was a member of the ATA under Grandmaster H. U. Lee. He still gives specialized training through his academy in New York. 

Les started his training from Master Sang W but turned to Master Suk Joon Kim with the ITF and Grandmaster Won Keun Bai. Much more than this, there is not much information to the public.
