Linda Moulton Howe is a well established American investigative journalist. She is the Regional Emmy award-winning documentary filmmaker best known for her work as a ufologist and advocate of various conspiracy theories. She has had many ups and downs in her career.

Linda Moulton Howe was born on January 20, 1942, in Boise, Idaho. Linda is among the two children born to Chet Moulton and his wife, Mabel K. Moulton. Linda has a brother named James Moulton. Her father was a Idaho's Director of Aeronautics from 1946 to 1971 and recipient of many aviation honors. Linda graduated from Stanford University in 1968 with a master's degree in Communication.

Linda is also noted for her speculations that the U.S. government is working with aliens.In 1980, Howe produced A Strange Harvest, a documentary that suggested unusual wounds found on cattle. The documentary received a Regional Emmy award in 1981.
