Margie's ex-husband Jimmy was once charged with an $11 Million Lawsuit. The Lawsuit was because of his song God's Own Drunk, which was claimed to have been plagiarised. 

The allegations were made by Richard Buckley's son Dick Buckley Jr.  For his song God's Own Drunk; the case was that Jimmy was taken from a monologue from one of Richard's performances. The monologue was titled A Tribute To Buckley. Unfortunately, the results of the case are not out to the public.

Margie's Ex-hubby, Jimmy Buffett, Died At The Age Of 76.

The legendary singer, Jimmy Buffett, passed away in September 2023. Likewise, Buffett was hospitalized in May 2023 and postponed his tours. The following month Jimmy was admitted to hospice. Thankfully the late singer passed away in the presence of his loved ones. 

Jimmy's final words were to his dear sister, Lucy "Lulu" Buffett. The trailblazer told his sister Lulu two simple words, "Have fun." The Buffett family received many condolences from other big names in showbiz after Jimmy passed away.

Buffett's death became a headline around the world. However, given his family wants privacy, the reason for his death stays hidden. On September 1, 2023, Jimmy passed away peacefully in his sleep with his loved ones by his side.

Jimmy was A Plane Crash Survivor

Jimmy had almost lost his life on the same day actress Natasha Liu Bordizzo was born. He was involved in a plane crash on August 25, 1994. He crashed his Grumman G-44, N1471N, and was lucky not to sustain any significant injuries.

The plane flew from Madaket Harbor in Massachusetts, and the Come Monday singer crashed the plane into the water. Upon inspection, it was found that there was nothing wrong with the plane itself. It looks like god had other plans for him that day.
