Following the divorce settlement, Mariana's estranged husband, Bjorn became involved in a romantic relationship with a Swedish model, Jannike Bjorling. Later, they welcomed a son, Robin Bjorling Borg in 1985. However, they split up in 1989, due to some misunderstandings. 

Mariana's ex-marital partner, Borg, further, exchanged his wedding vows with an Italian singer, Loredana Berte in 1989. The marriage lasted five years until they concluded their conjugal relationship with a divorce agreement citing irreconcilable differences in 1993.

After the divorce, Simionescu's former spouse, Borg tied the knot with Patricia Ostfeld on 8th June 2002. Following a year, they found the bundle of joy when they became parents of their first child, baby boy, Leo Borg. As of now, their son has become a profound tennis player and actor, who acted as a young Bjorn Borg in the biographical film, Borg vs. McEnroe in 2017.
