Mario Diaz-Balart has a strong vocation in the public sector. He serves the people of the 25th District of Florida in the U.S. House of Senators. In Congress, Mario sits on the influential and prominent House Committee on Budgets, which lays out expenses for the U.S. Government.

Diaz Balart was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on September 25, 1961. He attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, where he studied political science before beginning his public service career as an advisory to the Mayor of the City of Miami in 1985.
