James Robert Douglas Bironas, aka Rob Bironas, is a late American NFL (National Football League) player who tragically died in a car accident. He used to play with Tennessee Titans as a placekicker and is best known for scoring most field goal (8) in one game against Houston Texans in 2007.

Rob Bironas' Tragic Death

Rob died at the age of 36 on 20 September 2014 due of blunt force trauma caused by the car accident. According to USA Today, the alcohol level in his blood at the time of the crash was 0.218%, which cost him his life as he lost control of his 2009 Yukon Denali.

Before the unfortunate accident, he left his house saying Rachel Goodnight at around 10:30 P.M. However, his wife didn't find him on the bed and called 911 out of worry. On the statement, she said she and Rob didn't have fights and arguments at all. 

After 15 minutes of disappearance, a student of Belmont University called police saying that Bironas threatened to kill him and his passengers. Similarly, a woman also called and reported that Rob tried to start a fight with her and her husband. Shortly after the two calls, he was found dead in a car crash.

After the accident, Rachel went through an intense losing pain as she lost her spouse after three months of marriage. Back in 2014, she posted on her Facebook saying,

"Two years ago, today, I met the most amazing man in the world. I married him and lost him shortly after."

She added, "Tell your loved ones how much you love them every single day and don't hold grudges. For her husband's tribute, she got a tattoo on her wrist, saying 'Warrior,' which indicates her husband and also turned her wedding ring into a necklace. 

After five years of being the widow of her late husband, Rob, she finally found someone to be with. For now, she is dating a man named Dustin Hughes, whose details are still a mystery. She often was seen enjoying her time with him and uploads pictures of him on her Instagram.
