Sue first debuted on TV in 1982 when she was at the age of thirty-three. From then on, she starred in many shows, but she stood out most in The Royle Family, a BBC comedy, as the character Barbara Royle.

Regrading Sue's awards and accolades, she  was awarded the 'Best TV Comedy Actress Award' in 2000. The same year she was also nominated for the 'BAFTA TV Award.'

Shea Johnston's Mother Was Assaulted In Her 20s

Sue revealed a shocking fact that when she was twenty-seven, she was sexually assaulted. She also reported that the assault happened in 1970.
