Who is Tanya Haden?

Tanya Haden is an American artist, cellist, and singer. She is one of Charlie Haden's triplet daughters. Charlie is an American jazz double bass player, bandleader, composer and educator as well as original member of the ground-breaking Ornette Coleman Quartet.

Tanya Haden was born in New York City, USA, on October 11, 1971. Haden belongs to white ethnicity and holds American nationality. From an early age, Tanya became a member of several bands like Let's Go Sailing and is also a creator of the Imaginary Bear Puppet Show.

Together with her sibling Rachel Haden who is a bassist and violinist Petra Haden, she is the member of the Haden Triplets. In addition, the Haden Triplets released their first album generated by Ry Cooder on February 4, 2014.

Tanya graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with an MFA degree in which she had studied experimental animation. She continued her visual arts job and also exhibited in 2010 at several shows including Las Cienegas Projects. 

On the other hand, when she was picked up by Rosamund Felsen Gallery in 2015, Tanya was fortunate to have a single artist show for her sketches.

Tanya encountered Jack at Santa Monica's Crossroad School, a private high school. The duo started dating in 2005. Only after a year of their relationship, they tied the knot.

Tanya gave birth to her first kid, Samuel Jason Black, in 2006, June 10. When she walked down the aisle, she was already five months pregnant with her first child.
