Whereas her mother was the first lady who worked for the Pan American airline as a stewardess. In 2004, she moved to the United States. Moreover, she went to study at The Limerick School of Music and later she joined the National University of Ireland. 

In 2006, she received a Master of Arts and Master of Science degrees in journalism from Columbia University.
