Amirah O'Neal

Amirah O'Neal is the daughter of NBA legendary player Shaquille O'Neal. Shaquille is one of the most famous players to come out of the NBA. Amirah is also a basketball player like her father.

Amirah was born on November 13, 2001, in Santa Monica, California, the United States of America to parents Shaquille O'Neal and Shaunie O'Neal as Amirah Sanaa O'Neal. She has five siblings, including two from her father's and mother's other relationship. She studies at the Crossroads School and plays for their team roadrunners.

Relationship & Affairs

Amirah's parents got married on December 26, 2002, at the prestigious Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. They were married for seven years. The couple was already dating for a considerable amount of time before deciding to tie the knot. 

The couple has four children together two before their marriage and two after it. Shareef O'Neal is the eldest born in 2000, and Amirah was born the year after. After their marriage, Shaqir O'Neal was born in 2003, and Me'arah O'Neal was born in 2006.

Amirah's parents were separated on September 4, 2007, but later reconciled. The couple would then divorce eventually when Shaunie filed for divorce on November 10, 2009, citing "irreconcilable differences."

Before their marriage, Amirah's parents each had one child from the previous relationship. Shaq had a daughter Taahirah and Shaunie had a son Myles.

Relationship after the divorce

Amirah's dad has been a busy man since his divorce with her mother. From 2010 to 2012, he was involved with Nicole Alexander, actress of Flavor of Love.

Shaq's second relationship came with model Laticia Rolle after Nicole. He would date Laticia for four years from 2014 to July 2018. The former basketball player was rumored to be dating Annie Ilonzeh, the actress from Chicago Fire, Peppermint, American Horror Story, and Empire. The pair were spotted together in New York City.

The rumors subsided when Shaq was spotted with a new girlfriend, Dani Nicole, in Spain. He was seen with the Texan in July 2019.

Amirah's family is considered basketball royalty from her Hall of Fame father to her brothers. Her father, Shaquille, has an estimated net worth of $400 million.

Basketball Career

Amirah is trying to follow in her father's footsteps on becoming a pro player. Shaq was the first overall pick in the NBA draft of 1992 by Orlando Magic. His four years with them saw him bag $17 million from 1992-1996.

O'Neal signed a seven-year deal with Los Angeles Lakers in 1996, which was worth $121 million. He ended up staying nine years with the Lakers, where he earned $167 million.

In July 2004, Lakers traded him to Miami Heat. His new contract with the Heats was worth $100 million over five years from August 2005. In the later years of his career, he played for three teams, Phoenix Suns, then Cleveland Cavaliers, and finally Boston Celtics from 2007-2011. These four years earned him $62 million in salaries.

The player is a franchise king. He at one time owned 155 Guys restaurant, which he has since sold. He also purchased 17 Auntie Anne's, a Krispy Kreme, and CityPlex12 movie theatre in New Jersey.

The retire has recently invested in nine Papa John's Stores and has received $8.25 million for his endorsement of the brand. He has endorsement deals with brands like Pepsi, Toys'R'Us, Burger King, Reebok, Carnival Cruise Line, and Vitamin Water.
