If you are a Basketball fan, then you must have heard of Shaquille O'Neal or better known as Shaq. Shaqir O' Neal is the son of the NBA Hall of Fame player. He is also a basketball player like his father.

Shaqir O'Neal was born on April 19, 2003, in Los Angeles, California, to parents Shaquille O'Neal and Shaunie O'Neal. His birth name is Shaqir Rashaun O'Neal. He has five siblings from his father and mother's relationships. The aspiring player studies at the Crossroads School and plays basketball as a point guard for his school team in Santa Monica, California.

O'Neal was the first overall pick in the 1992 NBA draft by the Orlando Magic. He stayed there for 4-years from 1992-1996, earning around $17 million.

In 1996, Los Angeles Lakers signed O'Neal on a seven-year deal worth $121 million. He remained with the Lakers for nine seasons from 1996-97 to 2004-05, where he played alongside late Kobe Bryant. His stay there earned him $167 million.

In July 2004, he was traded with Miami Heat. He signed a contract with the heat in August 2005, which was worth $100 million over five years.
