Ben Richardson

Ben Richardson is an award-winning British cinematographer, producer, and director best known for Beasts of the Southern Wild(2012) and Yellowstone(2018). Richardson is also the longtime boyfriend of an American actress Anna Kendrick.

Benjamin T. Richardson was born on September 21, 1975, in England. He debuted in Hollywood as a cinematographer for the feature film Beasts of the Southern Wild. Since then, Ben has transformed himself into a film producer, director, and even actor.

Ben and Anna are reported being in a love relationship since 2014. Anna is an award-winning actress known for the musical Pitch Perfect, Up Into the Woods, and Pitch Perfect 2. He met Anna for the first time during their movie workshops. 

But the pair have kept their relationships a low profile until 2019. The two were spotted together in the public last December 2019. 

When a twitter user tried to hook Anna with a 22 years old hockey player Anthony Beauvillier, the couple came out together in the public hand in hand after their movie date in Los Angeles. It all started when Anthony sent Anna a flirty tweet. 

But Anna wasn't serious about the tweet and she told that it was fun to read people's reactions to Anthony's tweets. In fact, the Pitch Perfect actress took the rumor lightly.

Until now, 45 years old Ben has been nominated to four Academy Awards. Most of his works are based on feature films and are also based on a true story. For his efforts, he was invited to join the American Society of Cinematographers in 2019. Nora Ephron is an American filmmaker who is nominated for Academy Awards.

Furthermore, Beasts of the Southern Wild was one of his feature film that was nominated for four Academy Awards at the 85th Academy Awards. Ben's short film Seed was the recipient of the Best Animated Short award at the 2010 Slamdance Film Festival.
