Brandy Lewis was born on December 13, 1975, to the late Geoffrey Lewis and Glennis Duggan Batley. Her father was an actor, and her mother was a graphic designer. Lewis's parents divorced when she was in her mother's womb. 

After the divorce, Brandy's parents remarried and had children with other partners. Hence, Brandy has eight siblings, including Juliette Lewis, who is a popular actress known for her work in Cape Fear, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, among others. The sisters share a close bond and support each other immensely.

Brandy Lewis is happily married to actor Ethan Suplee. The pair first met when they were sixteen years old and became close friends. After a time, the actor began to develop romantic feelings for Brandy, but she was not interested in him. Hence, they lost contact.

But in 2001, Ethan and Brandy started seeing each other and this time as a couple. After a few years, the pair welcomed their first daughter, Francis Clementine Suplee, on 23 June 2005.  

Lewis and then-fiance Suplee finally tied the Knot in 2006.  A year after the wedding, in April 2007,  the couple welcomed their second daughter, Billie Grace Lewis. Brandy has two more daughters named Lilly Lewis(b. 1998) and Bella Lewis(b. 1997) from her previous relationship.
