Deborah Roberts

Deborah Roberts is an Emmy award-winning American television journalist who made her TV debut by local TV station WTVM in 1982. She is best known for hosting now ABC broadcast television network's division, ABC News Live. Added to that, she has also contributed to other network platforms, including Primetime, Nightline, Good Morning America, and The Katie Couric Show.

Deborah Ann Roberts was born on September 20, 1960, in Perry, Georgia United States. She is the daughter of the business owner, Benjamin Roberts, and a housewife, Ruth Roberts. Further, she has one sister whose name is Tina Clarington. So far, she holds American citizenship and belongs to the African-American ethnicity. She completes her graduation from Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Journalism in 1982.
