The famous American game show host, comedian, and announcer, Gray officially became the fourth daily broadcaster on The Price Is Right on April 18, 2011, succeeding Rich Fields. He also hosted American reality television shows such as I'd Do Anything, $25 million Hoax, and National Lampoon's Greek Games.

At the same restaurant, the couple who have celebrated their second anniversary in 2021 were having cocktails with each other friends. And Gray recalled of Green and her colleagues. He stated:
“I wound up hanging out and drinking and having fun and just chatting with the three of them for hours.”
However, for a year after their first meeting, the two were not in contact. They gradually reconnected and formally began dating in 2016. After two years of dating, George romantically proposed to Green in April 2018, during a trip to Thailand.
While purposing, the long-term boyfriend Gray had a couple of Thai musicians who played an acoustic version of Modern English’s I Melt With You. He explained: “I think everybody knows that song. … I had them play that … for us while the sun was setting … and I proposed to her.”
