The talented personality Hong Chau is one of the known actresses of Hollywood. She is best known for her outstanding performance in the US film Downsizing released in 2017 as a Vietnamese amputee and political activist. On that note, she was nominated for several awards for best-supporting actress. 

The Asian-American ethical actress was born in 1979 and has been active in the movies field since 2006. Currently, she is appearing in superhero drama television series, Watchmen as Lady Trieu where Frances Fisher played as Jane Crawford. Artists like Don Johnson, Jeremy Irons also starred in the Watchmen.

At 90th Academy Awards, she was considered as a potential nominee but was not nominated. Even USA Today's Andrea Mandell stated Hong Chau was snubbed.
