If you love listening to American Politics then, Ilhan Omar must not be a new name to you. Ilhan Omar is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Minnesota's 5th congressional district since 2019. She is the first non-white woman elected from Minnesota.

Ilhan Omar was born as Ilhan Abdullahi Omar on October 4, 1982, in Mogadishu, Somalia. She is among the seven children born to Nur Omar Mohamed and his wife, Fadhuma Abukar Haji Hussein. Her mother died when she was just two years old, and the family moved to the United States, fleeing away from the War in Somalia. Ilhan graduated from North Dakota State University in 2011.

Then in 2018, Omar legally divorced her second husband, Ahmed. Soon after the divorce, Omar remarried Hirsi. A rumor hit the market of Omar separating with Hirsi. The rumor turned into reality and legally quickly separated. 

Omar filed a case for the divorce on October 7, 2019, mentioning an irretrievable breakdown of the marriage. The case was finalized on November 5, 2019. Soon after the divorce, Omar tied her knot with Tim Mynett.
