Joanna Gosling is an English author, television news presenter and broadcast journalist. She is well known as the presenter on the United Kingdom rolling news channel named BBC News. 

Joanna Gosling was born on 5th January 1971 in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England, where another BBC journalist Carolyn Quinn was born. Born to her English parents, Gosling is of White ethnicity and holds British nationality. She also has two siblings. However, there are no exact information about her family background and siblings. 

Talking about her education, Joanna joined Aylesbury High School. After completing her school, Joanna studied at the University of Brimingham and received her degree in French. After the graduation, Gosling attended the University of Grenole in order to study journalism. 

Joanna kicked off her career as a trainee reprter for BBC WM, Fox FM, and BBC Radio Scotland. Later, she worked full-time at Independent Radio News, as a radio news presenter for Chris Moyles on Capital Radio.

From 2007 to 2013, Joanna appeared as a news presenter on the 7:00–10:00 pm shift on the BBC News Channel along with her co- presenter Ben Brown.

In Deceber 2010, Joanna spoke with the winner of the seventh series of The X Factor Matt Cradle. Additionally, on 29th April, 2011, Gosling became the part of the BBC team and presented the coverage of the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Besides her jouralism career, Joanna is also popular for her writing skills. Gosling's first book titled Simply Wonderwoman: A Survival guide for Women with too much to do dropped out in 2011. Furthermore, her second book Homemade Simple: Stylish, Practical Makes for Living and Giving, was pblished in 2013.

Talking about her personal life, Joanna was married previously. She exchanged her wedding vows with Craig Oliver (ex-husband) in 1996. Gosling's spouse previously served as a Director of Communications for 10 Downing Street.

The pair stayed together for more than a decade and finally decided to split. Their divorce was finalizedin 2014. Furthermore, they have not mentioned the reason for their divorce.
