Back in May 2014, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer, but after surgery and treatment, she was declared cancer-free. However, in June 2015, her cancer returned, and she was hospitalized. Joey underwent second cancer surgery to remove a 3-inch tumor in July 2015.
Even after numerous tries and treatment, the tumor grows back again and again until no more treatment options left. The only option for her is to be as comfortable as possible for the time she had gone to live.
She entered the hospice care on 9 November 2015, and after a year, she left this world precisely on 4 March 2016 at 2.30 PM. At the time of her death, she was 40 years old, and her grave is in the family cemetery on the Feek Farm.
